Reporting to the Administrative Director Laboratory, the Microbiology Laboratory Manager will be responsible for all technical and administrative operations of the sub-specialty section. The Microbiology Laboratory Manager assists with the strategic planning, promotes quality and compliance, leads department projects, has fiscal responsibility for capital and operating budgets, leads staff recruitment and management, develops training plans for new and existing staff, works in collaboration with various departments including supply chain and quality control, and is an active member in various hospital committees.

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Scientist
• Current ASCP certification as a MT, MLT, or CLS
• Progressive leadership in clinical laboratory setting
